About Turing
Turing is one of the world’s fastest-growing AI companies, accelerating the advancement and deployment of powerful AI systems.
Turing helps customers in two ways: Working with the world’s leading AI labs to advance frontier model capabilities in thinking, reasoning, coding, agentic behavior, multimodality, multilinguality, STEM, and frontier knowledge; and leveraging that work to build real-world AI systems that solve mission-critical priorities for companies.
Role Overview
We are seeking Senior Nurse Practitioner Experts to generate, evaluate, and refine high-difficulty tasks for frontier AI initiatives. In this role, experts will build technically accurate, practical tasks that test advanced AI model capabilities in complex differential diagnosis, autonomous prescribing logic, multi-morbidity care-plan development, and high-acuity clinical decision-making within scope.
Requirements
- Professional Experience: ~8–15 years of experience in advanced practice nursing across primary, acute, or specialty care settings. Must have actively practiced within the last 3 years to ensure clinical currency.
- Credentials: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) with active Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licensure and regionally relevant national board certification (e.g., FNP, AGNP, PMHNP, or equivalent).
- Core Competencies: Expert fluency in complex differential diagnosis, pharmacotherapeutic management and prescriptive practice, clinical risk stratification, multi-system care-plan formulation, and diagnostic synthesis.
- Deliverable History: Proven track record of producing high-level clinical deliverables, including complex diagnostic workups, comprehensive clinical management plans, multi-morbidity treatment protocols, and specialist consultation notes.
- Exceptional Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze high-acuity clinical presentations, evaluate conflicting diagnostic findings, weigh treatment risks versus benefits, and synthesize complex medical histories into clear clinical rationales.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to reviewing high-difficulty clinical scenarios, ensuring 100% technical and medical accuracy, patient safety, and strict alignment with clinical practice guidelines.
- Communication: Superior written communication skills for creating nuanced clinical scenarios, advanced practice evaluations, detailed scoring rubrics, and gold-standard solutions.
- Leadership & Independence: Ability to own day-to-day quality, calibrate peer outputs, and operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will serve as a senior technical authority within a specialized functional pod responsible for creating advanced evaluation and training datasets for AI models. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Producing high-difficulty expert tasks and gold-standard solutions covering complex differential diagnosis, advanced pharmacology, and multi-system care-plan development.
- Reviewing and calibrating team members' outputs to enforce rigorous clinical accuracy and safety standards across all pod deliverables.
- Owning day-to-day quality control and validating that all clinical scenarios, lab/imaging inputs, and prescriptive recommendations are practically realistic and medically sound.
- Applying and enforcing rubric standards set by the Functional SME (Expert) Lead.
- Identifying and escalating genuine edge cases, rare diagnostic paradoxes, and rubric ambiguities directly to the Functional SME Lead.
- Participating in calibration sessions and revision cycles to continuously elevate the complexity and clinical precision of pod outputs.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in any field.
- Experience in AI evaluation, data annotation, content review, quality assurance, or a related analytical role is preferred but not required.
