About Turing
Turing is one of the world’s fastest-growing AI companies, accelerating the advancement and deployment of powerful AI systems.
Turing helps customers in two ways: Working with the world’s leading AI labs to advance frontier model capabilities in thinking, reasoning, coding, agentic behavior, multimodality, multilinguality, STEM, and frontier knowledge; and leveraging that work to build real-world AI systems that solve mission-critical priorities for companies.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Supply Chain & Logistics Expert for a frontier AI data initiative. Experts will design, evaluate, and refine high-difficulty tasks to improve the reliability and usefulness of frontier AI agents within complex digital-corporate settings (think: ERP/WMS/TMS systems, network optimization tools, spend & inventory databases, freight manifests, Slack, E-mail, and cross-functional communications). Experts will leverage deep operational expertise to build gold-standard tasks that test advanced Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), distribution network design, multi-echelon inventory optimization, global freight logistics, and supply chain risk management.
Requirements
- 8–15 years of hands-on experience in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, or Global Planning.
- APICS/ASCM certifications such as CPIM (Certified in Planning and Inventory Management), CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional), or CLTD (Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution) are strongly preferred.
- Deep domain expertise in leading S&OP/IBP cycles, supply chain network design, inventory strategy & optimization, and end-to-end distribution logistics.
- Proven track record of producing executive-level supply chain deliverables, including network modeling proposals, safety stock policy frameworks, S&OP alignment decks, freight tender evaluations, and disruption contingency plans.
- Advanced ability to analyze complex operational data, model end-to-end trade-offs (e.g., service level vs. working capital), identify supply chain bottlenecks, and evaluate both the final artifact and the underlying strategic rationale.
- Demonstrated ability to author high-difficulty prompts, complex corporate scenarios, and gold-standard evaluation rubrics for AI models is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Author high-difficulty expert tasks and gold-standard solutions covering complex S&OP, network design, inventory optimization, and global distribution.
- Review, calibrate, and critique output from team members to enforce quality standards across the pod's deliverables.
- Define task context, required data sources, expected deliverables, and rubrics that distinguish exceptional, acceptable, and deficient work.
- Verify task feasibility, technical accuracy, and practical realism using provided tools, datasets, and simulated enterprise environments.
- Identify and escalate edge cases, rubric ambiguities, or domain edge cases directly to the Functional SME Lead.
- Participate in calibration and revision cycles, incorporating feedback to continuously elevate task complexity and operational accuracy.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in any field.
- Experience in AI evaluation, data annotation, content review, quality assurance, or a related analytical role is preferred but not required.
