Role Overview
We are seeking experienced Tax Advisors and Preparers to help train advanced AI systems. You will create, evaluate, and refine realistic tax-related tasks, verify technical accuracy and regulatory alignment, and ensure outputs reflect practical professional workflows. Your expertise will help AI deliver clear, reliable, and context-aware guidance across diverse tax scenarios.
Requirements
- 8–15 years of US tax experience in public accounting, corporate tax, or an in-house tax function.
- Strong experience across individual, partnership, corporate, and multistate taxation.
- Active CPA or Enrolled Agent credential required; JD or LLM in Taxation is an advantage.
- Expertise in tax planning, compliance, research, and interpreting complex US tax regulations.
- Proven ability to review complex returns, evaluate tax positions, and identify technical or compliance risks.
- Strong written judgment to explain tax conclusions clearly, accurately, and practically.
Responsibilities
- Produce high-difficulty expert tasks and gold-standard solutions in the functional area.
- Review and calibrate team members' output and own day-to-day quality.
- Escalate genuine edge cases and rubric ambiguities to the Functional SME (Expert) Lead.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in any field.
- Experience in AI evaluation, data annotation, content review, quality assurance, or a related analytical role is preferred but not required.
Offer Details:
- Commitments Required: at least 4 hours per day and upto 40 hours per week with 4 hours of overlap with PST.
- Engagement type: Contractor
- Engagement Length: Up to 9 weeks
